Hello! My name is Jeff.
After hurting my back in high school, I wasn't able to play on the tennis team anymore. My primary MD put me on pain meds and told me it would heal eventually, but the problem continued.
My mom took me to a chiropractor, who discovered a muscular imbalance in my back due to the way I was wearing my backpack on one shoulder like the "cool kids."
After a short series of adjustments and exercises, I felt great and was able to play tennis again. That experience really made an impression on me. I learned that if you can correct what's causing the problem, the body will recover much faster. It also led me to chiropractic.

Dr. Gail Shriner
Dr. Shriner began her experience with chiropractic care when she was 6 years old! She was born and raised in Spencer, IA. At a high school career day when she heard a woman chiropractor speak about her career, she realized that was what she wanted to do.
She graduated from Wartburg College in Waverly, IA in 1998 with a B.A., majoring in biology. During undergraduate school she attended summer internships, first at University of Iowa and then at the University of Texas, Medical Branch at Galveston.
In 2001, she graduated with honors from Northwestern College of Chiropractic.
In 2002, she joined Foothills Chiropractic with Dr. Jurgen Oljenbruns. She is involved with the local Kiwanis and Soroptimist International service organizations. She enjoys hiking and sports.
