LOW BACK PAIN

Gentle, hands-on care for sore, stiff lower backs, in Carefree on the Cave Creek border. In most cases we can see you the same day.

WHAT CAUSES LOW BACK PAIN?

Low back pain is one of the most common reasons people come to see us. It is often caused by a strained muscle or ligament from lifting, bending, yard work or a long round of golf, and many times there is no single clear cause. Less often, it comes from an injured disc, degenerative joint or an irritated nerve.

Most back pain gets better within a few weeks, though it can last longer or come back. Staying active and keeping up your normal routine usually helps more than resting in bed.
