What Medicare covers at a chiropractic visit, what TRICARE says about chiropractic care, and how we can help.
We accept Medicare. Medicare Part B covers spinal adjustments by a chiropractor to correct a subluxation, done by hand or with an activator instrument. After you meet your Part B deductible, you pay 20 percent of the Medicare-approved amount. What you pay can also depend on any supplemental insurance you have.
Medicare does not cover other services or tests a chiropractor orders, including X-rays and massage therapy. Shockwave therapy, spinal decompression, massage and reflexology are self-pay services here.
If you have a Medicare Advantage plan, your benefits may be different. Call us with your plan details and we will help you check.
According to TRICARE, chiropractic care is covered with a referral from your primary care doctor.
If you are a military retiree with Medicare, your Medicare Part B benefit may apply as described above. Call us and we will go over your options before your first visit.
Tell us when works best and we will call you to confirm, usually within one business day. In a hurry? Call 480-488-1282.
Please don't include medical details in the comment box. We'll ask about your health when we call.
